ALGA Regional Contaminated Land Conference 26th June 2017

ALGA and NSW EPA will be hosting the Regional Contaminated Land Conference in Queanbeyan on 26th June 2017.

The event’s objectives:

  • increasing awareness of contaminated land issues;
  • improving regional council officers’ understanding of regulatory framework;
  • exploring challenges, operational issues and strategic opportunities for councils and contaminated land consultants; and
  • encouraging professional networking of all sectors of the land and groundwater industry.

SESL’s ACT manager is part of the organizing committee for the event, bringing together a range of speakers from consultants, auditors, lawyers, regulatory authority and council representative to discuss on the contaminated land issues in regional area.

SESL’s principal environmental scientist Michael Nicholls will speaking on “Contaminated Property Transactions and the Associated Risks.”
