Kelly LeeSenior Environmental Scientist / A.C.T. Manager
Kelly started the ACT branch of SESL in 2015 after joining SESL in 2011. She’s the ACT Manager and looks after projects/clients within the ACT and southern NSW region. She is a senior environmental scientist and soil scientist that works with the ACT and NSW teams, delivering a variety of environmental projects for SESL.
Kelly has worked at a number of high profile projects within the ACT and NSW, undertaking contaminated land investigations at audited sites as well as specialising in non-routine waste resource recovery for commercial/industrial operations in ACT and NSW.
Kelly is also a trained soil scientist, providing sound and practical advice to urban horticulture projects in the ACT including Canberra Light Rail and designing soil specifications for greenfield sites development that maximise the reuse potential for site resources to be used in urban development.
Kelly holds a Masters of Environmental Law from the Australia National University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the National University of Malaysia.
Kelly is a committee member of the ACT Chapter for the Australian Land and Groundwater Association and Environmental Insitute of Australian and New Zealand.
Kelly is a stickler for attention to detailed, believes in providing sound and practical advice to clients, and strive to deliver the best outcome for clients without compromising the quality of work.
Kelly is a self-proclaimed goofy nerd and enjoys seeing people’s reaction when she speaks in a different languages.
