Luke JacovidesSenior Environmental Scientist / QLD Manager
Luke Jacovides is a Senior Environmental Scientist and the manager of SESL Australia’s Queensland office. He coordinates a range of environmental projects for SESL Australia’s extensive client base by applying a practical approach to science and legislation to achieve exceptional results for his clients and the environment.
Luke believes that the best environmental outcomes are achieved when scientific professions work practically with their clients and regulators. He works with the philosophy that implementing cost-effective investigations and management solutions ensures that the budget goes further and this, in turn, generates the best possible outcomes for the client and the environment.
Luke has managed and worked on a range of large environmental projects, from major arterial road upgrades through to precinct developments and essential infrastructure. Additionally, Luke also specialises in smaller-scale projects for local clients all throughout Queensland.
Luke is a suitably qualified person for the assessment of contaminated lands. He is a member of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association and the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand. He is also AUSRIVAS accredited for the assessment of Australian waterways.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management and Science from Western Sydney University.
