We were delighted to welcome Tim O'Hare, Managing Partner and Principal Consultant of Tim O'Hare Associates LLP, to our Sydney office last week. Tim's visit marked a significant milestone in our joint venture collaboration on the King Salman Park project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and other exciting new projects in the Middle East.

Tim O'Hare has been a professional soil scientist since 1993, with extensive experience in soil science and landscape engineering. After completing his Master's in Soil Science at Reading University, he founded Tim O'Hare Associates LLP, an independent consultancy specialising in soil science and landscape engineering.

King Salman Park: A Visionary Project

King Salman Park is an ambitious initiative under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aiming to create the largest urban park in the world. Located in the heart of Riyadh, the park spans over 16 square kilometres on the grounds of the former Riyadh Air Base. The project is designed to offer a wide range of activities and experiences, including arts and culture, sports, innovation, and entertainment. It is envisioned as a green oasis that will significantly enhance the quality of life for Riyadh's residents and visitors.

The grand scale of King Salman Park is truly remarkable. As the largest urban park globally, it is set to become a central hub for cultural, recreational, and environmental activities. The park aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to create a vibrant and healthy society, promoting Riyadh's position among the world's top 100 most livable cities. Upon completion, the project is expected to create thousands of skilled jobs and serve as a milestone in urban development.
